On October 29, 2008 Ignite Change participated in the MLK Commission Youth Leadership Conference at Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ. Aleshia Alston facilitated a workshop on body image titled, "This Is Why I'm Hot!" Nearly 100 high school students from Northern New Jersey attended the workshop. The Youth Leadership Conference was a success. Originally 500 students were expected. At last count, 651 students attended making for a wonderful day for all involved.
